Out of desperaton today, I went down to my local haunt when there was a break in our never ending storms.
One lone male Barrow's Goldeneye.
I will get this guy in better light--he comes in close at high tide.

One lone picture of him too.

Never fear, I counted 48 of them right off of the Sculpture Park today at lunch! I know of two downtown flocks this year, they are just starting to show up. You'll get your closeups that I'm always jealous of
