The versatility of the zoom is nice, and I like the single focal length and larger aperture of the Nikon. Tough choice.

Better keep both... Anyhow you cann't do with the prime what you do with the zoom, so if you don't have some extra primes to cover the focals I'll advice to keep the 17-50.

A bit difficult to answer you when you havent wrote what you use your gear for.

But in general, i would keep the 35mm. Its much better quality then the tamron.
