These two were on a plant next to the Hibiscus where the Harlequin has now lived out its cycle, more or less. Last time I looked, 4/5 days ago, the colourful Harlequin babies were herding in large numbers, maybe fifty or so in places though not many such gatherings since the weather had been dry for a while. I have seen other small green bugs that could be the younger version of these two. These two remind me of that so colourful Hibiscus Harlequin. http://onbeingmark.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/p1470363.jpg http://onbeingmark.files.wordpress.com/2009/11/p1470405.jpg
I know I'll always find gold in your shots, very well done. I certainly appreciate the skill and effort in getting shiny insects lit right; these are perfect!
