I am only posting these because it was fun to see, thought others might find it the same way, the photo's are more documentary than anything, just too far away and too dark to get really good shots. Handheld, 40D, 70/200 with 1.4
I like how you showed the environment. I wish you were able to open up the lens to get softer bokeh / background. Were you in a blind? Congratulations on your shots.

I'm Glad you like the crop, Yeah, I was really wishing that the light was different when this started to unfold. No I was not in a blind, just using natural cover.

Picture getting ready to leave the house, actually having the 500 in my hand walking to the truck and then saying Nah, it is going to be too nasty today, walked back and put it away Arrgggggggghhhhhh, the whole time I was trying to follow this event I was thinking to myself, Stupid #^&*^**#*#%* why didn't you bring the 500!! hahaha, oh well, next time
