This shot was taken this past weekend in NJ during Nor' Ida. Its not to often you can get a shot of an unmolested wave during a swell like this. Usually the surfers are all over them. Luckily for me this one got through unharmed.

This is a gorgeous image--power and serenity in multiple tones. My only nit is that the forewater seems too hot. Beautiful!

Nice action portrayed in this, and I like the vignette, but that's a personal taste some others I understand don't.
