These were a protest of the Olympics in china (human rights stuff). A re-creation and salute to the Buddhist monks who sent themselves on fire to protest the Vietnam war.

Shot with ilford 3200 and printed on ilford glossy fiber paper. Sorry for the terrible snapshots of these. When I have time I need to make some good copies.

It's hard to tell the quality of the shots, but how did the gent do when all was said and done??

Yea, not really wanting technical critique so much as gut opinions/reactions to the idea. The quality is rather poor due to how much I had to push the film and my negatives had some scratches.

He fell backwards into a pool that he is sitting on the edge of.
