Another great shot Charlie! These BW pictures remind me of my family albums. My father took a lot of pictures when my brother and I were little, all BW, all with a TRL that I am told, I pretty much destroyed during my early years. My dad still has it in Kathmandu!
Thanks gentlemen,
Sherpadog, without meaning to pry, I AM curious about your connection with Nepal. You write using "Americanized" English, and you live in the U.S., yet you were born and raised in Nepal and your father now lives there. Are you of Nepalese ancestry?
If the question is too personal, please forgive me.
Charlie
I am Nepalese, and so is my family. I am still a citizen of Nepal. After graduating from high school, I decided to come to the US for college. In 1996, I started college in Oregon. After graduation from college, I ended up getting a job and now live in Seattle. My wife is also from Nepal. Hence, we go visit home every 2 to 3 years. Most of our family still live in Nepal. The high school I went to in Nepal was founded by the British back in 1972. We were taught "English" English. But I have been in the US for over 13 years now, so I suppose my written and spoken English reflect what I hear and speak every day.
Oh and I don't mind the question Charlie. Please keep posting pictures. My brother lives in Kathmandu now, he also went to college here in the US. I was thinking, we could have him re-take some of these pictures from the same perspective, so we can compare then and now properly. Now that would be fun!

Sherpadog- if your brother is interested, I think it would be a kick.
Charlie
Keep posting Charlie, when I see a shot that can be re-taken, meaning with enough BG for me to recognize the location and point of view, I will let my brother know and see what he can come up with!
