Did the world run out of DX cameras? I can't believe the beating this lens has taken being you couldn't find one for under $950-$1,000 just a couple months ago. What an awesome lens at a great price

There is just as many DXs as there ever was, there's just a lot more FX and 24-70s out now.

It is a good time to need/want one of these beauties.

i agree, just sold my copy of this great lens locally this week...i really struggled to let this one go, it's such a great piece of glass....

This is by far the most versatile and valuable piece of glass I've owned on DX. Sadly, I sold my copy for right around the same price on Nikonians a month ago. It seems there is a surplus of good 17-55's for sale and not enough people with money to buy them.
