I'm looking for a buck-up battery for my Canon 50D, as a back up to the original.
I need something to be reliable on the budget side.I Prefer an ebay seller, as i don't live in USA so if you have experience pls let me know about.

thanks for the address.
As i saw this guy sells battery with 2000 MAH, while the original canon 511 is 7.4v 1390mAh. I have read that it's better to be near these mah (1390) the right battery for 50D?
Yes the mAh is just the capacity, and as long as the voltage of the battery isn't crazy different (within +/- .12v), then you're just fine. Looking at my OEM BP-511 theit's 7.4V, which is the same as these aftermarket ones. I've picked up a few aftermarket before, and I'll say they performed no differently than the OEM. I never did any type of comparisons, but the camera never missed a beat. And $10.00 versus $30.00 and up for OEM...Shhyyyaaaaaa!

Thats what I got (2000mah)
I bought 2 to go on holiday to Disney Paris. Before I bought these 2 I used the proper canon battery for my 40D around a local theme park with the kids and it was showing the last bar by the end of the day after about 200 shots and plenty of chimping. I got the 2 ebay ones and used 1 for nearly 4 whole days in Disney Paris before it was showing on the last bar. each day included at least 150 shots with plenty of chimping + each night uploading to my laptop (forgot the card reader).
I only changed to the other battery on the last day as I wanted to know the battery would not crap out during the night parade.
Lots of people say that the knock offs dont last as long as the proper canon ones (charge cycles) but then I look at it that for about the cost of 1 Canon (£40 amazon price) I can buy about 8 of these knock offs and throw them away if/when they go bad
