Still being laid up but trying out my new 2880 Epson printer and photographing some yard birds. The printer does canvas beautiful but still have some troubles learning the new set ups with three paper feeds. All ready sold two 12 X 18 canvas prints. One eagle & one Snowy Owl and I have to say the canvas does make a big difference in the looks of wildlife.
I posted a review but for some reason it is not coming up

Thanks Kal and I am having fun with the canvas as it is pretty new to me for printing. I have a new type roll coming today that should prove interesting for W&N. The nice part is you do not need any matt or glass so just print it and mount it and let the customed pick a frame or they can also be gallery wrapped so no frame needed. These new K3 Chrome base inks are fantastic fot long life. I am going to try and photograpf a few and see if their worth posting.

Nice set Lou.
Best of luck with your printer and canvas but good to hear you are selling those prints.
Martin
Thanks Martin. I did pano of my cranberries being harvested at 12 X 38 on glossy and it did come out great. UPS just delivered a roll of canvas so I'll be playing some more now. I have been pretty lucky selling my prints in this location and do quite well wth my cards.

Nice work Lou. those printers can take some getting used to - good luck.

Thanks Carl, Yes I had a really tough time getting the roll paper to fee and also get the print preview right for a Pano. The manual is a bit lacking on sveral maters as are the two people I went to Epson for support. Couple of weeks with it and I'll be OK.

Lou,
These are your yard birds? nice I have a few hummingbirds on the balcony
and an occasional parrot or Scrub Jay. Good luck with the printer.
Tim
Thank you Tim and yes these are some of my yarders. You have parrots visit your balcony? How cool is that. I like looking at Parrots and their colors but I would only see one either in a private home or a presrve. I once installed a telephone in a private home and the women had a complete room closed off for about 4 or 5 parrotos. While I was admiring them she warned me not to stick my fingers in there Some were quite old. I was very imprssed.
