Will someone explain to me why all of the sudden I can view and edit my 7D full sized RAW files in Lightroom

No seriously... I've been struggling with DPP all week, and then suddenly today, Lightroom opens up and can actually SEE the files! They are full sized RAW files which previously, could only be viewed and processed in DPP... and no, absolutely no updates. WT... H?

Not complaining, just confused...

Are you by any chance seeing those converted RAW's from your DPP session?

LR 2.5 has beta support for the full size RAW, so I'm guessing you updated inadvertently? The color profiles, however, are not very accurate.

huh. I have no clue. I was frustrated all week because LR wouldn't recognize the files, but now that I think of it, I think I might have had my RAW setting set to MRAW... and today I switched to the full sized RAW. That must have been what it was! Thanks for helping me figure that out!!!
