Seeing it made me wonder what the NGO is that would need this kind of portrait. What is it?
Just some things can make it better (of course that is a matter of opinion).
Like what?
1. Expression
In this image the man looks like a banker who has just said "NO" to a bank loan applicant. He appears to have lifted ONE eyebrow, and in non-verbal communication, that looks like "WHAT are you thinking?" or something judgmental.
Is that the right expression for the NGO and the image use?
2. Background Elements
Aside from the "big white box" mentioned by Pfiltz, I see an "arrow" going through his head at the ear level. It is a weak illusion, but I see it. Sort of like a "arrow through head" gag item. Easy to clone that away.
actually I really like it. it fits him, it may not be the standard business headshot but it has a gangster mob boss feel to it which really fits him. so even though you could light it a 1000 ways, for him it is great.

Want to make it better?
-hair light, a little bright. I like it but would turn it down a touch
-the silver thing behind him, I would cloned it out
-a couple of bottles in the background could also go
Besides the obvious things, such as hairlight ( too much), background .... oh yeah, his hand looks "hot" ....I must say I like his expression.
At first ya might think he's that "banker" that Steady described but if you look a bit longer he looks as if he's trying to be serious but within a split second will start laughing.
Just try this !!!!! Cover his face so you can only see his eyes .... now cover his eyes and look at his mouth !!!
