Dear me, running out of descriptives for all these new ones I have not seen. absolutely love this, one of my favorites are thistles, thought I had a couple of good shots, just deleted them, they were trash I can now see.
I have an unusual lily blooming right now, just started, they are called blood lilies, will take a shot tomorrow and send to you, maybe I should drive a couple up to you.
Sharp, sharp, sharp.
Its a beauty. Only thing I dont like: the fade on the tip of the bottom blade. I'd like to see the sharp edges there as well.
Scott
Thanks so much, Patsy! You are always so kind with your comments. Please don't throw away photos on my account. If I'm not mistaken, you were the one who suggested that I shoot a Thistle sometime.
Those blood lilies sound interesting. Please send me a photo. I'd love to se them.
All best wishes,
Endre platscha wrote:

Thanks so much Scott. I appreciate your kind comment. You are right about the darkness of the bottom leaf blade. I fixed it. Thanks for the suggestion.
All the best,
Endre

Your eye for beauty respects the weeds much the same as the beautiful flowers.
Another lovely image and an interesting variation on the thistle which grows here.
Book it!
Thank you, Cal, my dear friend! I really appreciate your very kind comments. I think it was Platscha that asked me to shoot a thistle. These don't grow around here but are available in the flower stores. So I guess they might be called "Ornamental" Thistles.
Warm regards,
Endre
