This guy wanted me to come play with him. See I am big and fluffy and freindly.

When I saw your first post with the cub I felt like "Well he has 700 shots and posted the best ones"
Each series is a best of actually. I love each single one of them.
How did you manage to leave that place ;-) ?

Rob: It was a great trip. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

Dreamphusher: It was more like 3000 shots (50gb) and I have not posted the best ones yet that I like. It was hard to leave but I was tired and the sun went down. Thanks Scott

Mr Zoom: This guy would taste like a old tough chicken but he still looked too hungry. Thanks Scott

Very nice. Lucky how you can come close to these polar bears. I've heard it they can be very aggresive.

Great set Scott. With a tongue like that he must have been sucking blackcurrant sweets

Lil: You shoudl go with your friend. I was worried, given that I was only there for a day, that I might miss them in poor light, but in retrospect even in poor light it was well worth the visit. Thanks for the feedback. Scott

BearCreekLar: Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

danjacquitaylo: After the tundra buggy tour seeing >30 bears every 1/3 mile or so, they dropped us off in Churchill to wander down the street for an hour. And I had the same thoughts as you - gee I thought Polar bears could be dangerous Thanks for the feedback. Scott

mkweaver: It was fun. Thanks for the feedback. Scott

z06jim: When we arrived he was sleeping. I think he was just bored waiting for the ice to come in. But it was fun to watch him wake up and stretch and perform. Thanks Scott

Martin: You can't take pictures when you are lunch Thanks for the feedback. Scott

David: I don't know why his tongue is so dark. But not from eating because the nearest berries are 100's of miles away. Thanks for the feedback. Scott

He's a polar bear. He's not clowining.

He's trying to put you at ease so he can pull your guts out in long loops to get to your liver so he can eat it first.

Polar bears are like that.

That's my analysis.

Johnny Bravo: Great analysis. They would not let me out of the tundra buggy to test it Thanks for the comment. Scott

Rich: This is one of the highlights of my year in photography even though the conditions were challenging and pictures would have been way better with less cloud, it is an experience I shall not forget. Thanks Scott

mkweaver: In churchill at Haloween, the police patrol the streets and mom's stand on guard with their cars for trick or treaters, and there is a polar bear jail for errant bears, because the bears are hungry and unlike the grizzly, the will hunt you to eat you. So it would not be a play time that you enjoyed

Karl: It was a fun outing. Thanks for the feedback. Scott

Peter: The bears all seemed like they were enjoying their liesure. Thanks for the feedback. Scott
