Interesting scene Sandra - what caused the tree line patterns here? These don't appear to be natural at all.
That said - in the full flush of fall colors they sure make for some neat comps in your images. I like the first one with the hint of the taller topography behind hidden in the mists.
Sandra, these are all beautiful. Tough for me to choose between the first and last. But, I think I'll go with the first. Lovely images. Love the separation and distinctive colors in the varing rows of trees, and the added bonus of the mist in that first one.
Thank you for your kind comments. I must admit that when I took these pictures I was really unhappy about the weather. It took some time to realize the beauty in this.

Don't know, Alan. As a "beachgirl" I'm not familiar with forests and mountains
i'm really enjoying this series of fall images....they have to be about the best series i've seen this fall with atmosphere, movement, and color combinations. Kevin.
