p.1 #1 · Nikon Capture vs NX2

Just saw a demo of Nikon NX2 software at NYC Photo Expo.
Very impressed. However I already have Nikon Capture 4.
Can anyone contrast the features and benifits? Is it worth the purchase?
Thanks,
mark

The most important difference is the inclusion of U-point technology in NX2. It provides a very quick and intuitive way to do post-processing without the cumbersome use of layers and masks in Photoshop. I hardly use CS3 anymore after NX2. Mostly only do it for perspective "correction".

For me it was definitely worth the upgrade.

Thanks for the input . I am using the demo version right now. It is pretty cool. But lots to learn.
But where does that leave Capture 4?
I loved Nikon View for simple adjustments.
But seems much more complicated with either of these programs.
Best deal to purchase I found was Beach Camera for $129.95 - free shipping

Capture 4 becomes obsolete. I recommend Jason O'Dell's book, very good to explain CNX2, it will bring up to speed
