These were taken yesterday at the Alaska Football Cup which is annually sponsored by Alaska Milk. Entrance was free and and the best part is its in the neighborhood.
nice action in players, great expressions. If there's a niggling factor, it's that the ball seems 'dead' in all the shots, like it's just sitting there. That's really rare in soccer. Any shots with the ball airborne?

Thanks for the comment. I think I should've gone done from ISO 160 to 100 or 50. Stopping down from 2.8 to say 4 would be better? Or slap in a ND filter to cut down on light entering the sensor? It was a really sunny day.
Yes, it's difficult to avoid the heavy contrast in that kind of hard sunlight. 100 ISO makes sense, and f4 would be fine. I don't like to stop down more than that simply because the shallower depth of field isolates the action.
