Sorry this is such a long post but I wanted to give the sense of this place, a grasslands park just north east of Kamloops, B.C.

1. The setting

4. The youngsters

8. The story. While we were there one lone ewe led nine rams around by their noses, up and down this little canyon. (Stop me guys if this story sounds familiar

). Most of the action was very civil but there was one pretty good clash. Part of the group then formed for a group portrait and as always happens one clown has to spoil it.

Nice shots!!

The second sheep post tonight, what happened to all the birders?

I love sheep and whether BC or NV the country has a lot of "rough" similarities! And that one ram is a real dandy.

Wow, that is one gorgeous specimen. That big boy is outstanding. Nice work, Rob. I love the Kamloops area and that part of British Columbia.

Karl - It is interesting country, desert-like and quite different from our forested home.
Tim - #10 is my favourite as well, I think it shows how much fun these guys are to watch.
