I think if J-Bat has $950 to spend, then this may be the camera for him. Who's to say?

1DII camera is 1.3x crop. It's not a full-on cropper like the 40D (say) but it's not a full frame (like 5D or 1Ds line) either. right in the middle.

APC-H sensor I believe they call it.
