I've been a member of FM for a number of years now and thought it was time to change from being a habitual lurker to a contributing member
The black and white forum is the only one where I open all the new messages everyday to view the images so I thought it appropriate to start here.
Here is an image of a couple enjoying the view from a dock in downtown Tofino B.C., unfortunately because of the "bumpers" to keep cars from driving off the dock their feet are cut off.
Andrew, welcome to our little hidey-hole.
I like this because of the composition and the dreamy aspects.
Perhaps some sharpening would improve the look of the two people.

They look almost like their standing on a stage looking at a mural.
I think you're right about the sharpness, maybe I'll try a little selective sharpening on the foreground subjects.

Nice shot. I like the composition. Tofino is a beautiful place with lots of views like this. Haven't been there for a while but I remember it well...
Thanks for the reply.
Yes it is quite the place for photography. I've been here 4 years now and it's hard not to see a good photo opportunity every time you turn your head, which is a good incentive to always have a camera handy.
