The Quiraing is a spectacular landslip on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach, the northern-most summit of the Trotternish Ridge near the north-east coast of the Isle of Skye. The whole of the Trotternish Ridge escarpment was formed by a great series of landslips; the Quiraing is the only part of the slip still moving and the road at its base near Flodigarry requires repairs each year.

This looks like a great place. Number one is my favorite but it looks a little too HDR-ish. The shadows don't quite seem dark enough... No biggie though, still a nice shot.

Both the available light and you processing shine in image #2, I really like the darker shadows and contrast.

Awesome shots, Adrian. I especially like the softness of light and the addition of living creatures in the 3rd.

Thank you for sharing these pics. I can only hope to be able to see this country though my own eyes someday.

Beautiful scenes, Colonel! Man that's a island filled with rugged terrain. I particularly like the deeper shadows in the 2nd, but they're all quite enjoyable.

Lovely series. My favourite is no1, but with the processing/contrast of no2. Good to see you had some half decent weather. Did you climb up into the Quirang and take some photos?, the view from there is fantastic and very unworldly when covered in mist.
