Got to JP for a few more hours on Sunday.The weather held out until sunset when it went behind clouds, but another nice day. Unfortunately I couldn't find any action for most of the afternoon - the sandhills were all way in the middle of cornfields, so I just got a lot of flybys.

This is for Karl. You can cut and paste it. I have several other angles and sizes

Some exquisite detailing on these Gene. Very nice smoothness in the tonal range on the bodies of these birds and some great detail under the wings. Dang I think almost every flight shot got 'nose holers'

Pleasing on the eyes buddy, nice IF's for sure!

Nice Gene, I like the #1 takeoff shot. Detail is superb. Nosehole on #2 is well defined along with the rest of the bird, and the last shot is really nice with the soft lighting.

Some excellent flight shots in this set, Gene, and also enjoyed the running take-off shots. It's trenchmonkey and TheHotel (Wacky Roger) who are into Sandy nose holes and I'm sure that's why Rober was the 1st to post on this thread
