These seem a lot more like Gabe then you, at least, the shots of yours I'm familiar with. Even the logo seems similar, with the 2 words separated by colour, the word 'photography' spaced evenly under your first word, its's even the same font I believe, but yours is in caps. I don't imagine clients will notice, and yes, before people flame me, I know that nothing can be 100% original, etc etc. but the style of these shots + the logo feels way too Gabey for me. I much prefer some of your other work.

I would be more you - these just don't feel right when I look at them. Cropping half her eye in 3 is a really bad idea - I think crop it all if you have to. I like the ring shot, though. Sorry if this is a bit harsh, man.

Hey Jer - Yeah I agree this is a very different set, still settling into my own I feel. The logo is the same one I have always used but I did size it smaller. Other than that nothing has changed with it.

Some of the these poses do scream Gabe and I am not surprised...big fan.

Good to hear, that is exactly what I am looking for! Thanks a ton for the detailed review man. The journey continues.

No worries, thanks for taking it in stride. I always noticed the logo, but the shots never seemed to emulate his style like these do - this set makes the comparison easy to draw. But meh, I did textures too when I was trying to sort stuff out too, all good to try out.

Hi Aron~ I really like your work and usually dig the stuff you put on here, but I just gotta say NOTHING about these photos says engagement to me. I know a lot of couples arent lovey dovey, but these folks aren't even smiling in any of the photos you posted. Do you have more "engagementy" type of shots you could post?

nice set overall. be aware that when you use textures, it's probably best to avoid having a giant slice across someone's neck. (#1)

Doug - Cool, thanks.

Clare - Thanks for the kind words. Yes I have plenty of my usual stuff but posted these to hear everyone's thoughts. I think I have a fairly good idea of what has worked and not worked in the past for my usual work so it is nice to try something new and get feedback. Thanks for taking the time to comment!

ks - Thanks...hehe interesting point.
