1. I used NR (never the blur tool) on the BG only. I might have gone too far w/ the NR slider on this one.

I agree w/ you about the darkening more of the BG.

Very nice set Dan. Very clear pics with lots of detail and color, I think you did a great job on these! #2 is my top pick for the texture in the shot and the green bg!

The D300s, IMHO, is slightly better AF. I don't have my D300 anymore so I can't compare side by side but I do really like the D300s.
