I've been trying to squeeze the most out of my G9 PP because I'm finding the SLR less and less convenient. Not a lot of headroom in raw but its coming along I guess.
For the first I suggest polishing with the blur tools for the foliage background and the sharpening tool for the monkey. Also use the clone stamp to re-touch out the bird droppings that are a little distracting. For the parrot, I'd suggest some sharpening and perhaps a small bump to vibrance.
I think the post-processing suggestions AuntiPode made are right on.
However, the first is just too busy for me as is, even with blurring the background. I'd suggest a BW conversion with lightening the greens to take out some of the busy-ness. Happy to post an example.
Second is a nice composition. Again, I echo AuntiPode's recommendation. Kaden's re-work took down some of the feather detail in the body. I would suggest you preserve the detail.
