My previous post, "Portret of a Cape Verdean" https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/833979, is a portrait of a member of the Cape Verdean dance Company "Raiz di Polon".
Keywords of their performance is "Power", "Sensual", "Unusual", "Emotional" ...

One of the female dancers is "riding" his back while he "flies" ...

Capturing their moves in the theatre is a challenge, and that's an understatement.
Never enough light to freeze things properly, but at times, things do come together ...

Velu this is brilliant. Both of them have perfect expressions. I really like the wide crop and the movement in his "wings".
