It's a really fun lens to use, especially on a 5DM2.
The combination brings new meaning to low light shooting.

I usually stop down to F4 or 5.6 for more DOF and once in a while let her rip at F1.2. Sure does blur out the ugly shit in the harsh midday sun (5D/50 1.2L) It's a giant topical fern in case you can't tell what it is.

I consider myself to be a flower photographer. Here and there, out of boredom mostly, I fire a casual shot or two at birds.

I use 50 f/1.2 lens for BIF quite often, here are some most recent examples.
