I just purchased a used D700 to use as a backup to my new D700. When both are set to file type RAW, one will yield 100 images the other 77. I swapped the cards and reformatted on each camera and they are the same. Any hints on what setting is responsible for the difference.
I have RTFM'ed for an hour or so and have sat the two bodies side by side and gone through all the menu settings and not found a disparity.
Any clues in FM land?
