Hi Jason,
I am impressed w/ the high ISO results from the D300s too. I think if you properly expose them, the d300 might give you the same results. Try it on the D300 first before you decide to jump to D300s.

Hi, and high ISO looks pretty good Dan. Nice captures of these little buggers, they are not the easiest to capture with the camera, good job.
