Today, the Vann's Triple Crown of Surfing kicked off its first day of preliminary heats. The surf was so-so, but the talent was unbelievable and the weather was BEAUTIFUL! Here are a few shots from this morning:

Nice shots. I'm jealous of you Hawaii photogs ; your subjects are more colorful and the water is really blue/turquoise.
