Not entirely landscape but something I wanted to share.
We had the great honour to shoot a Remembrance Day service onbaord the Havengore (the boat that carried Churchill's coffin at the State funeral in 1965). It was a moving and beautiful event.
The most amazing part was when they raised Tower Bridge out of respect for the occasion and we slowly moved through while the piper played on the deck.
Yes, I think they are. There were "watermen and lightermen" onboard.
You're right about the 'once in a life time' - it really was an awesome moment for us.

That must have been quite an experience. Thanks for sharing. Who was 'we' by the way? Who did they invite, a photoclub or you specifically?

My other half Ian and I is 'we'. We were commissioned to do this shoot by the boat owners.
Beautiful images these will forever be embedded in you and Ian I'm sure, what a privilege and honor you were given. #1 is just incredible and you captured the moment just beautifully. Beautiful work on all of these Ute and I'm so glad you had this opportunity
I have seen & photographed a lot of our Veteran's Day events, but this one truly is unique, special and moving.
Thank you for letting us share in this
