I was asked to cover this game coming up soon. I've never been at Neyland stadium. I was looking for some advice as to what I'm getting myself into. I will probably use a marklll and a 7d body. I have a 300 IS f/4.0 and a 135L I will probably use, or should I used the 70-200 on the 7d?
How early should I I arrive at the stadium? I hope it's ok to ask these questions in this forum.
From my buddy who shoots at every UT home game.....plus he has those cameras
"They shouldn't have problem shooting either camera with those lenses, but they will have to take their ISO higher than they'd like because of F/4. The 2.8's won't be any problem.
At least 2 hrs early. They can come to the media ctr in the north end zone and eat as well.
Thanks for all the good info. I signed the access papers today and faxed them into the office. If all goes well, this will be my 1st Div. 1 college game with field access. I am looking forward to this game, but tonight it's high school playoff 55 miles down the road against the number 1 team in the state(3A).
Thanks for all the info and the links. If you are there I will have a White House ball cap on. I am mostly there for the Sullivan twins who play for TN. They are from White House, Tn. and are seniors this year. When they are in, they will often be my target.
