While the "B" team was in the midwest, The "A" team was working Hammy central... . Here are some from the weekend. Shane (FM Name: PowerPhoto), and lady Cathy completed the stageside trifecta. D3, 70-200/2.8, ISO 2500-3200. No NR.
Pop quiz for y'all. In images 5-6, it's the same squad, same move, same timing, same photographer, but two different angles without a remote. How is this possible?
BTW... just a little humor and ribbing among buds with the "A" team vs. "B" team stuff. With the exception of Manny, I have had the pleasure of working with everyone on the Dallas crew and Hammy is true about what he says... he hires the best.

Hint, or a little Alesse PS magic: her right foot is twisted and skirt is slightly different between 5 and 6.

Down time? We never had any down time in Dallas
Huh? I was asking Paul if he was in St. Louis, and wondered at what location in St. Louis this was held. I'm local and hadn't heard something this big that would draw those guys here was going on. Not sure what ZING is suppose to mean.
Paul, some of the best Cheer stuff I've seen here. #3, #9 and #10 are my fav's plus everyone airborne....sweet stuff. I love the perception of the height on some of these.

Great shots as always Paul. I liked the Arch shot too.
On your EXIF, why does it show EC -1/3 and Metering CWA when you're shooting M?
They will still show those settings regardless of whether they are used or not. In this case (full manual), it's not, but they become live settings again if shooting in auto ISO.
Correct me if I'm wrong if you are a seasoned Nikon user.
Paul,
With the 1.5 crop/zoom factor, what Nikon camera were you using? Also, with those settings it looks like you had some pretty darn good light at the event. I wish the local HS gym had that kind of light. One more thing.. I think if your going to post shots as nice as these you should include your "dark side avitar" with the post.

Matt,
Misinterpreted internet printed sentence structure for “humor” and or “jovial photographer banter”…..My Bad! Sorry.
I thought you may have been part of the “B” team for which Paul was joking around.
“Zing” or “Zinger”, to give the proverbial “Raspberries”, “Busting your chops”.
Wiki has more or Google.
Again, meant no harm and it was all in fun.
