What you guys know about the ND grand Singh-Ray Daryl Benson Filters
I use Lee now and I'm happy with them,The Singh-Ray Daryl Benson filters there 2x more the money then lee filters any particular reason ??
I was looking to buy a glass ND grand because I'm sick to scratch filters all the time

first off, they're SR which automatically makes them more expensive. Whether they're worth the extra $$ over Lee is someone else's concern, personally, I doubt it.

Second, the DB GNDs are *reverse* in that they hold back the center w/ less hold back on top. Lee doesn't make that so if that is what you want, pony up the $$$.

I own the Daryl Benson & Galen Rowell GND's. They are both great filters. As Howard said the DB is a reverse GND which I have found only useful if you have a flat horizion like the ocean or prarie. I don't know if they changed anything but all of my Singh-Ray filters are plastic just like the Lee's.

I don't know how Singh-Ray compares to the Lee's but vs all the other GND filters I have tried the Singh-Ray's are a true ND filter... All the rest I have tried would turn a pink sky a bit gray where the Singh-Ray's don't. To me that makes them worth the price.
