Some quick grab shots with the one lite show me that I'm getting more light onto a white coated lead pencil that I would've blown out with my old diffusers. Thanks for all the help. I am in awe of your ability to consistently get such wonderful focus & dof. (*If I was feeling braver than usual, I'd suggest that a weeny, teeny, tiny crop off the right and bottom would remove the bit of knackered petal in the bottom right corner which drags my eye a bit from the subject. I'm pretty sure I took all of the 1x to 1.5x shots in manual mode. E-TTL has a real tough time with some of the scenes I shot today and I didn't feel like messing with the FEC. So I shot one of those little yellow flowers, adjusting the exposure until I got close thinking that it would be the most reflective object no matter what landed on it.
