I have been watching (am I alone in thinking that "lurking" has somewhat sinister connotations?) this site for some time now, admiring many of the images and trying to summon the courage to post a few of my own. Here goes...........
They are:- A geranium anther, another geranium, and a lacewing portrait; this unfortunate creature was recovered, long since dead, from a spider's web.

Agree with Mark, John and Brian. Very nice shooting, David. Amazing amount of 'life' still in that lacewing's dead eyes.

Thanks Kenny, yes, after seeing some recent posts of dead bugs' eyes I was expecting them to be a little more desiccated looking. Lucky with this one I guess.
