The composition in this one is well planned and the background separation ensures the subjects get maximum attention. There are no distractions in the background. The lighting gives us an impression of 3D on the face of the girl, so I expect that this lighting direction was chosen rather than stumbled upon. Students of photography should view this one and ask themselves if they can achieve this background separation, and whether they will plan the lighting of their next shot as well.
