Thanks everyone. We have just a little suet and some sunflower seeds out for the birds, but I think the fact we have large trees all around including mature birch helps with the woodpecker population.

I like the framing of the shot. I'm curious as to what it was staring at. I think in post processing you can push the sharpening a bit more. You can also use the lasso tool in photoshop to select the eye and use unsharp mask 50% to make it pop more.
