Very nice job on these Larry, your exposure control really captured all of the wonderful detail and subtle color in the fur/hair.
I like 2, 3, and 5 in this wonderful series... nice comps too.
Well done.

Larry, these are wonderful images. Fine exposures and a great amount of fur detail abound Your poses look very nice, the BG scenery is a treat all its own, wow those are some vistas and I am glad you shared these!
I know my work monitor suffers in the shadows but I am looking for a bit more 'open light' in the eyes perhaps.
Where were you at here?? Gorgeous!

A great series.
All turned out very well.

The only suggestion; if you have the time try some flash for fill.
Seems like you had a very cooperative subject, and suprisingly they seldom react to flash.
It only works for me if I have something like #3 or #7, with little or no foreground plants.

Great job, puts me right back in the mountains. #5 is my favourite photo but #4 is my favourite caption. Thanks for including the landscapes.

Geez Larry, what part of our back yard is that? PM details about the hike please

Wonderful shots of the cute guy! He sure looked cooperative. It's really hard to pick favorites here. The varied backgrounds add so much to the images, each one is delightfully unique. The vistas are grand to be sure but the goats steal the show for me!

Wow, thanks for the kind words!! Your monitor isn't off, I just couldn't get around to the other side of him to get good light in his eyes, I am still working on the PP to be able to isolate an area and work on it, I'll get there.
Up in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area of Washington

Thanks much!!
I will give it a try, I always wonder if they are going to bolt if I use the flash, so have never tried, Nice to know that you can do it..
