The knock on the 135 f2 DC is the slow focus as a result of a "screw" focus drive I don't know what that means, but the 135 f2 norm, may not have that type of focus drive. My nickel says the D90 motor is smaller than the D700 (I have both) and may be slower because of that. I haven't tried my 135 DC on the 90. It's snappy on the D700 but that doesn't help you. I have more trouble with AF hunting because of low contrast conditions (like a surfer in fog) Rags Nov 06, 2009 at 10:31 PM
