Any ideas from you film users what caused the ghosting of the sprocket holes in the shot on the left.
These are two consecutive frames from an expired roll of TMax shot at 400 and developed in Diafine 3+3. I know the artifact has nothing to do with the films expiration since I also got it on another good roll of Tri-X.
A few people have suggested I didn't agitate enough, and that might be so. I backed off from what I usually do based upon the advice on the Diafine packaging not to over agitate. I limited my agitation to the paddle on the tank and to only 5-10 secs every minute.
Thoughts?
