I think it was a good idea to have the focus on the front part, I like it.

I prefer 300 but was sportin' the TC for BIF...the landscape shooter in me couldn't pass up that palette!

Nice range of colors in an unusual comp. Good call on the focal point - that worked out quite well in this case.

Thank you kindly, Barry. I've been trying to slow down and take the time to "see" my surroundings
while out shooting BIF. Dumb luck on the comp., guess it turned out ok. There was a duck hiding in
the grasses lower right and I thought he might blast on outta there.

I like the way the foreground sloping line of the in-focus grasses matches the sloping oof line of the trees in the mid-background. Nice work Will.
