I have a very good condition 40D with BG-E2n grip that I would like to trade + cash for a good condition 5D preferably, but would consider a 1D2 or 1D2n.
I am the second owner of the camera and according to EOSinfo it has 24xxx shutter clicks. The LCD has a few minor scratches but they are non-visible when the LCD is on. There is also a very small chip in the paint on the side up by the shutter button. Other than that, its in great shape!
If you have something to trade, let me know how much cash on my end you would require to get a deal done! If the 5D has a grip, thats even better (depending on price obviously... )
Will also sell outright for $700 shipped/paypal eCheck. Add 3% for paypal credit.
The camera will come with the original box for the body and the grip, as well as manuals, the strap (which is slightly worn but still in good shape), and one 4GB and one 2GB Transcend CF cards, for 6GB total.
I have not sold anything here on FM, but have sold one (maybe two things) on POTN under the name BEphoto, as well as on TexasPhotoForum.com, also with the name BEphoto.
I will try to include pics in this post of the paint blemish. Im my original post I didnt see a way to upload more than 3 photos, but I now see the URL uploader so i will try to link to my post on TPF with more images.
Paint Blemish (sorry the pics arent great, but its the small offcolored mark between the dial and the shutter button. Very small)
Also, here is a link to my post on TPF, where you can also view the little feedback I do have on there under my avatar on the iTrader rating. http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110957 Im not sure if you have to be a member of the forum to look at the post though.
I also have very minimal feedback as a seller on ebay under the name bgtbees.
As far as the Err99 occurances, I have heard of this for years now, but have yet to see it on any of my camera bodies. I'm actually not even sure what that error is, or what it means.
I've never had any issues with the AF. It seems to focus quick and accurate. I shoot a lot of sports and servo mode works very well. Were there any known problems with 40D autofocusing that I may not be aware of?
Thank you very much for the feedback. Its very appreciated.
