and so on. I didn't even get into technical cameras and those gorgeous Rodenstock and Schneider lenses, the Hasselblad X-Pan, nor my lust for several R lenses, like the 180/2 and 280/4. It never ends.
You should talk with Daniel. Obviously, he's found something down under to help soothe the itch - or maybe he's just waiting to 'break out', and doesn't know it yet.
Lets see... My current wishlist. From most desired to might eventually get it
1.) CZ 50/2.0 Macro ZE (as soon as Zeiss feels like releasing it, I need auto-aperture. My stopgap Sigma 70/2.8 Macro is still a tad longer than I wished for and focus feels ho-hum)
2.) Samyang 35/1.2 (sounds absolutely fantastic)
3.) Canon 24/3.5 TS II
4.) Samyang 85/1.4 (the Canon 85/1.8 is too sterile for my taste, currently trying to figure out if that's the reason it gets so little use)
Plus a really long macro (closeup) lens (>200mm preferably 300mm, would be nice if it could do 1:2 without tubes). The Canon 300/4 IS is pretty lacklusting.
My list gets divided into "serious interest," meaning I will pick them up eventually, and "want to try," since I've never shot with them but am open to the opportunity should it arise.
Serious interest:
Leica R 21/4 (I thought this was going to be a CV 20 when the EF mounts arrive, but I shot with an acquaintance's Nikon mount and like the Leica more)
Canon 45 TSE
Leica R 90 'cron ASPH (just waiting for the right copy at the right price)
Want to try:
Zeiss 85/1.2
Leica R 280/2.8 APO and the 1.4 extender
Zeiss 18/4
