More ducks, please

Really sharp, I like! Especially duck #5, he's giving you the sly "yeah I see what you did there" look.

Since firmware ver. 1.1.0 was just announced (which fixes the ghosting @ 8fps), have you checked to see if Canon uploaded that version onto your 7D? It's quite likely they did so before they returned it to you, which explains why they mentioned it in the notes.

They said they updated the firmware but I had done that before I sent it to them. When I saw the note I checked and it was 1.09. I installed 1.10 yesterday from the Canon site.

I will try and find a duck or two....

John, is this resized or crop ? I checked your gallery, and looks like a crop.

I'm not complaining There is a grainy look to it (noise), but is very nice.

Thanks...Yes that is a crop... maybe 20-30%. I looked at the original RAW and the head is not really sharp like the back of the duck so I forced it a little on the sharpening. However, looking closely there is a very fine noise grain effect in the water portions. I don't think I used any NR in PP.

No, the image was resized and then sharpened
