p.1 #1 · Most favourite Actions or Presets for Wedding Photography

Hello,

Wanted to find out what actions some of the FM members are using or would recommend. I know a lot of the members recommend Presetopia. Does anyone use Totally Rad or MCP actions for PP on weddings and portraits?

Thanks

The only action or preset that I use and didn't make is TRA's Pro Retouch, which is great.

I own TRA and TRA2~ but honestly I don't use them that regularly. They are both GREAT sets though and I have fun with them when I want to play around with them. The three from the set I use most are Beer Goggles, Oh Snap and Clarify.

I own actions from Kutbota, Totally Rad, and another... my favorite action is a Frankenstein from using a combination from all of the above.

I was in love with the TRA and have both packs.. and they are great - and I used them in my workflow ... UNTIL Presetopia.com - I've barely cracked open the Actions for finishes on photos since Presetopia. Now my entire workflow and finished product has been redesigned ! don't waste another minute... go get the presets at presetopia.com - you won't regret it. every photo I PP has some presets on them.

AWESOME...

I own a ton of things. I also just purchased the new Presetopias v2, having somewhat enjoyed the previous ones; but I guess I'm one of the only ones not thrilled with the purchase.

To this day, I still absolutely love my Stellar LR presets. They are probably one of the best out there. I still use many Preset Heaven freebies, as well as many of the MikeyG Kodak and Matt Presets freebies as bases for B&W.

As for actions, I have Dirty Pictures and all the TRA's, A2D, Leah's and NicoleV's. (yea, I went a little crazy there for a while)

But honestly, if I were to do it all over again, I'd actually pay money for the TRA's, DEFINATELY Dirty Pictures and finally the Stellar presets again. Nothing else, I would miss.

There are a ton of excellent LR preset freebies out there. Check Flickr (got a few REALLY great ones from there) and Preset Heaven.

I know I don't post here often, but I've been reading here a lot more recently and plan to jump in. I'm tired of the crap many other forums are slinging. Hope my opinion helps though.

Ya i have found no one actions or preset is best. I have blended my own depending on the type of lighting I have and what kinda feel the picture has.
keep it simple is the way to go
to many actions get your to many headaches
