Thanks O'neil.

Thankfully this man will soon be represented by a union and will have health care coverage and a better than an $8.00 hr. job sorting garbage for recycling. Sanitation work is the 4th most dangerous work in America today. Something to think about.

Creates a sense of presence well. Effective capture of an unappealing subject.

Scott,

I often see photos of beautiful people on this forum, portraits of people at their best, but not too many people in the real world.

The white car distraction and why-are-you-taking-my-picture expression take away from this one for me.

That's great Scott. I find the greatest meaning in real life photography.

That was his expression both before and after the photoraph. I don't do sneak photography it's not my style and I often interact with the people I shoot. The white car IMHO offers good contrast against the black shirt but I realize we can't please everybody.

Nice work Wilfredo. You caught the weariness he must have at the end of a shift. This has got to be a tough job. You might want to consider sharpening the reflections in the left eyeglass just a bit - maybe its the compression, but it seems just a bit soft where everything else is sharp.
