Here is one view of the just completed, brand new bike path bridge spanning the thoroughfare in town and a crop selection from that image. First time walking across it. I didn't have my bike today but will take it across tomorrow..

Didnt they just do a Shadows entry on one of the Assignment Boards? If so, and time allows, you should enter one. I prefer the first, but like both.

Thanks Scott. I wasn't aware of the Assignment thing..
Man, they really make it hard to jump off bridges.
The optical illusion caused by the shadows makes the path look "rounded to me," i.e. higher in the middle and sloping down at the sides.

Sorry, I didn't express myself very well. I meant curved from one side to the other (left to right as shown in the first pic), not from one end of the bridge to the other (i.e. an arch).
