My wife and I went to Nova Scotia in the middle of October. It was my first trip to the east coast and I was hoping to catch the reds in the leaves but we were about a week to late. It was overcast and rained about 90% of the time. Here's a few from our trip. All comments welcome. Dan
I love that image of the derelict canoe Dan - that has some distinct character to it. It would be interesting to hear some of the history it has seen.....
A very strong set of 3! #1 is my favorite, with the other 2 essentially tied for 2nd. I would be happy with any of the 3 myself, nicely done. These are looking like perhaps HDR, but if so, wonderfully understated so as to bring the scene's dynamic range back to what the eye saw instead of what the camera could capture in a single frame. In any case, whether HDR or not, they are very skillfully framed, captured and processed.
First and third are HDR's I had tried HDR on the second but I didn't like the way it turned out.
Binh Ly you are correct it is Peggys Cove. And the last shot is at Yarmouth.
You should have made the trek up here to Cape Breton Island. Our colors didn't peak until the middle of the month. The Cabot Trail was spectacular again this year as usual.
