I don't mind the dark hills either. There is a nice layered look. The sky is great and I love the light slanting in over the water.

I'm a bit torn on this one.
First, its a beautiful, powerful image, well-composed, wonderful layering, etc.
But, I still want a bit of detail in the deep shadows. Not to distract, but just to fill things out.

I agree. The lack of detail is a little bit distracting. It's already beautiful, but if you could dodge that out a little it would be perfect.

I don't know how you pull off shots like this Rick, but I love it. I wouldn't dodge anything; it's the deep contrast that I like so much. Very nice.
